Vacation Rental Damage Protection
As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Any damages that exceed $3000.00 or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy, www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g20vrd]. The Vacation Rental Damage plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Country Club Properties any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Country Club Properties directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment. In the event you do not wish to purchase this plan, a $1500.00 security deposit is required. . Check out time is in order for the house to be cleaned for check in at . We ask that you assist the cleaners in preparing the house for the next rental check-in at by WASHING AND DRYING THE TOWELS AND STRIPPING THE USED BEDS- leave sheets on top of beds.
PLEASE DISPOSE OF ANY REMAINING TRASH, THIS CAN BE BROUGHT TO THE DUMPSTER BEHIND MY OFFICE WHEN DROPPING OFF THE KEYS (TRASH IN THE MOUNTAINS IS AN INCONVENIENCE WE REALIZE – BEARS AND TRASH ARE BECOMING AN INCREASING PROBLEM AND WE ASK OUR GUESTS TO HELP EMIMINATE THESE PROPBLEMS BY BEING RESPONSIBLE WITH THEIR TRASH)
Firewood is not furnished with your rental, If you want our office to arrange delivery, if possible please call us in advance of your check in. Firewood is priced at $50, which last 2-3 days or $100, which usually is enough for a week. Please do not make use of the owners Firewood.
If you make use of goods (paper products, soaps, garbage bags, foods, etc.) found on the premises, please replace as these items also are not included in the rental.
Please DO NOT REARRANGE FURNITURE OR MOVE OWNERS BELONGINGS this can lead to accidental damages and does not make the owners happy when their home has been rearranged.
If you encounter any problems with plumbing or mechanical items, please call our office and BE PATIENT. We will do everything possible to take corrective action, but due to our seasonal nature here in Highlands, service technicians are sometimes very hard to schedule in the height of the season and may take time to respond . With our elevation we are subject to severe lightning storms which causes power surges and frequent power outages. This can and does also interfere with Telephone/Cable/Internet Services on occasions. Thank you for understanding and being patient !
Every attempt is make to keep cleaning costs to a minimum; however, we insist on maintaining a very high standard and ask that you help with this endeavor by complying with a few simple requests:
1. Use only those linens necessary to be comfortable, extra laundry means extra expenses, washing and drying your towels prior to departure help cut down on cleaning time and costs .
2. Do not leave dirty dishes upon departure, please load them in the dishwasher if applicable, or wash them and leave them on the dish drain board.
3. DO NOT LEAVE TRASH IN OR OUTSIDE HOUSE – there are Recycling centers at three locations,
As indicated in your Rental Terms Agreement there is a $50 service charge for any trash left in the house, if you leave trash please leave the money for the cleaners to take to the dump, they are not fond of hauling off days old garbage in their vehicles nor do they have room with their cleaning equipment. During your stay follow the trash procedures as indicated with the directions to the house. If the house that you are staying in does not have trash pick-up service take trash to one of the local recycling centers, you will need to remove trash from the house prior to departure. It may be a day or two before the cleaners are scheduled and trash cannot be left in the house. When departing please take remaining trash to dumpsters behind my office. We have a lot of occurrences where bears this year and other animals get into the trash cans and scatter the trash, which must then be cleaned up by my self (yuk!), or by the cleaners who in turn will charge me $50 therefore (please leave money if leaving trash), we don’t leave trash outside or inside of homes for any length of time. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING! ( If all else fails there is trash dumpster behind my office PLEASE BRING TRASH THERE WHEN YOU LEAVE AND DROP OFF KEYS!! )
Upon departure the keys to the house are to be dropped off at our office, these may be left in the mailbox.
