Hummingbird Hill
This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
Located just a few blocks off Main Street at the bottom of Ravenel Ridge on Wilson Road, it's an easy walk to dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant on Harris Lake or a stroll to the lake to feed the ducks and geese. Walk to Main Street to dine at one of the many restaurants, or enjoy a wonderful spa treatment at the award winning Old Edwards Inn and Spa.
This home is designed for convenience, entertaining and relaxing on the covered deck. The master bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor and there are two queen bedrooms downstairs. Please note that the bunk beds in the virtual tour have been replaced with a queen bed.
Great outdoor areas include the covered main level deck with wood burning fireplace, TV and a large table for dining al fresco. A lower level Pub deck includes a ping pong table, dart board and hammock chair.
You will absolutely love the proximity and convenience of this great vacation home to Main Street and all that downtown has to offer.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

This property was perfect for us! We were two couples traveling together to a family wedding in Highlands, and the layout of the house provided us with our own bedrooms and bathrooms. The living space was roomy and well appointed. We loved the outdoor deck and enjoyed an evening in front of the fireplace. The location allowed us to walk downtown if we preferred. We were all extremely pleased.

A Breath of Fresh Air. My husband and I, along with our daughter and son in law enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Hill. The location was so convenient to all of our activities from hiking to shopping to dining. Its close proximity to Cashiers allowed us to meet friends for lunch. Mornings and evenings on the porch with a fire were so relaxing! Who could ask for more?

Being welcomed with cookies and wine from you all really set the tone for the weekend we were about to have and the home itself was so homey and charming. Lovely stay in a charming home. We had a wonderful time at this property! It's a safe 10-minute walk to town and we spent a ton of our time frequenting the Fresh Market Grocery & Pizza place. We were welcomed with some cookies and wine from the host and the home itself is so homey and charming. We loved hanging out by the indoor and outdoor fireplaces and felt that everything was true to the listing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was full of helpful amenities that make your stay easy. It's worth noting that the driveway is extremely steep but there is a second little parking area midway up and the first-floor porch is certainly an easier stopping point for those who struggle walking up steep inclines! We had a great time and would absolutely book this home again if we return to Highlands. Thank you!
