This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet  fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.

Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.

This French Country home was custom built by a renowned Atlanta Decorator and features antique wood and French clay tile floors, stone masonry fireplaces in the living room, kitchen and screened porch. Situated on 4 lushly wooded acres on historic Billy Cabin Road, within walking distance to Mirror Lake. Enjoy the wonderful view of Satulah Mountain from the back-double level porches with wood burning outdoor fireplace.

Two master suites, and two lower level guest suites make this vacation rental home perfect for the whole family. The upper level master suite has the advantage of a private open-air balcony that overlooks the private acreage and mountain vistas on the horizon. This suite also has a large dressing room furnished with a fine antique chaise lounge. The main level master suite has the convenience of being steps away from all that the main level living area has to offer. From the main level descend to the terrace level guest den that is flanked by two large guest suites that each contain their own private baths.

For the outdoor enthusiast this home boasts four acres of private hiking trails and quick access to Highland's famous Mirror Lake. Canoe and fish on this beautiful 18-acre mountain lake surrounded by quaint lake cottages and exquisite private gardens. Travel a short distance to Highlands Main Street via the Highlands Plateau Greenway and enjoy the fine restaurants and luxury shopping that the historic downtown district is known for.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund.  If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
