CSA VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE - Why You Need To Buy A Guest Protection Plan.

How many of us could afford to lose the non-refundable part of our trip if something unexpected happened? Your vacation is protected when you buy CSA Vacation Rental Insurance, which offers trip cancellation, delay, and interruption coverage.  “COUNTRY CLUB PROPERTIES VACATION RENTALS” has partnered with CSA Travel Protection to provide you with this important insurance and we highly recommend that you purchase the protection to safeguard against the unexpected.  We all want the trip we’ve planned to be the vacation of our dreams. No one wants that dream to turn into a nightmare, but unexpected events can happen. Troubles can occur when you least anticipate them.  Illness...medical emergencies...delayed flights [snowstorms] and other severe weather can force you to cancel or interrupt your trip resulting in unplanned expenses. As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occurs during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Any damages that exceed $3000.00, or are not covered under the plan, will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3000.00. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy HERE, The Vacation Rental Damage plan can be purchased up to, and including, at check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Country Club Properties any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Country Club Properties directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment. In the event you do not wish to purchase this plan, a $3000.00 security deposit is required.  PLEASE REPORT DAMAGES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE


Firewood is not furnished with your rental. If you would like our office to arrange delivery, please call us at least one week in advance of your check in. Firewood is priced at $50.00 which usually lasts 2-3 days or $100.00, which usually is enough for a week. Please do not make use of the owners Firewood.


Each property has enough paper products, shampoo, soaps and garbage bags for your first night but are not fully stocked for the duration of your stay.


If you encounter any problems with plumbing or mechanical items, please call our office. We will do everything possible to take corrective action, but due to our seasonal nature here in Highlands, service technicians are sometimes very hard to schedule and may take time to respond.
Severe lightning storms will cause power surges and power outages. This can interfere with Telephone/Cable/Internet Services. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Before your departure, please pay careful attention to the following information.

CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M. - Please understand that we have multiple properties where guests are checking out and new guests are checking in on the same day. We need time to prepare the rental property you are vacating for the arrival of the next guests. Housekeeping and maintenance professionals must have access to all properties from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for cleaning and maintenance after check-out and prior to check-in.  You can assist us by doing the following:

PLEASE WASH AND DRY THE TOWELS - We’re happy to provide towels & linens at no additional expense but they do take longer to dry in higher elevations.  By starting the towels in the dryer, this helps housekeeping ready the house for the next arrival.


CLEANING Every attempt is made to keep cleaning costs to a minimum; however, we insist on maintaining a very high standard and ask that you help with this endeavor by complying with a few simple requests:
  • Use only those towels and linens necessary to be comfortable. Extra laundry means extra expense.
  • Do not leave dirty dishes upon departure. Please load them in the dishwasher if available, or wash them and leave them on the dish drain board.
PLEASE DO NOT REARRANGE FURNITURE OR MOVE OWNERS BELONGINGS  Our owners have asked that we stress the importance of this issue as this can lead to accidental damages and is a safety concern.


BEARS AND TRASH ARE BECOMING AN INCREASING PROBLEM AND WE ASK OUR GUESTS TO HELP ELIMINATE THESE PROBLEMS BY BEING RESPONSIBLE WITH THEIR GARBAGE. CURBSIDE TRASH PICK UP IS AVAILABLE AT LEAST ONCE WEEKLY BUT PLEASE DISPOSE OF ANY REMAINING TRASH BY TAKING IT TO ONE OF THE TRASH & RECYCLING CENTERS LISTED BELOW. When trash is left out, bears are attracted to the house which is dangerous for everyone.  We know that disposing of trash can be an inconvenience in the mountains and appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

As indicated in your Rental Terms Agreement, there is a $25 service charge for any trash left in the house.  Highlands does not have daily trash service pick up so removing the trash is the occupant's responsibility. If prior to your departure you are unable to remove your trash, please call our maintenance provider.
