A wonderful place to stay !!! We booked for a wedding and days before we arrived a foot and a half of snow dumped in Highlands. Alicen went above and beyond to assist us with getting to the house and worked on finding us alternate accommodations when threat of additional snow made us staying in the house impossible. We will definitely be renting this house again and will book through Alicen for future trips to the Highlands!!!

Girls Trip. We rented this home for a girls trip and it was perfect! The home was lovely and had everything we needed!

Perfect mountain getaway. The house is the perfect location in the mountains and only a very short drive into The downtown. I really did not want to leave. We had cozy fires and they even provided the firewood for us! Will definitely want to come back!

Great Property - Has Everything you Need! Came up for the weekend to enjoy the snow with our 5yr old. This home was fully equipped with everything. It was clean and very well maintained. Perfectly located to everything and very nice neighbors. Property Manager was responsive and we plan to book this property again!

The property is amazing. Super private. The patio and the porch are showstoppers. THE VIEW! Wait until you get to watch the sunrise in the morning. It's worth waking up early! We loved the upgraded kitchen and fireplace. It's first class. Fully stocked kitchen - double oven is a BONUS! The shower in the master bathroom is next level. We used the hot tub a lot more than we thought we would because it's that nice. A notebook with some general information would be helpful, but otherwise fantastic. The photos on the website don't do this place justice -- I cried tears of JOY when we walked inside the door the first time -- I couldn't believe this is where we were going to spend our holidays! And loved the Christmas tree too!

Clean, Spacious House in good location. We really loved this special house with all its custom design features and large spacious rooms. Linens were good quality and house was very clean. Great parking! Property managers were very attentive and easy to work with.

We will definitely be back! We had a wonderful time at Little Bear Pen House! The house was beautiful and clean, and in such a perfect location! Even though the weather was too stormy and too warm for our taste this time of year, we were still able to make the best of our vacation in your home! We love the Highlands and will definitely be back!

New Years 2022. Highlands Lake Sequoyah Lodge was everything we had hoped it would be. Beautiful view of Lake Sequoyah off the back porch. Spacious rooms to accommodate all guests. We had a blast being able to use the kayak's on the lake. Thank you so much for an amazing weekend stay and we look forward to returning in the future!

Awesome location and nicely appointed home. Location allowed us to walk everywhere in town to eat and shop. Beautiful house with nice furnishings and amenities. Very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Cozy Christmas in Highlands. We had a wonderful family Christmas stay at Cardinal Cottage. Loved the open floor plan, the view from the deck, and roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. The location was excellent - a nice walk to Harris Lake and even Main Street, otherwise, a 3 minute drive. Beds were comfortable and wifi worked like a charm. Can't wait to stay again!

Loved it. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! The waterfall was an amazing thing to wake up to every morning and the location was perfect.

We didnt have any issues that required us to contact anyone but the communications after booking and during our stay via the emails sent were very thorough.

Great weekend! Would go again! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at BlackBerry lane! Beautiful home with a fantastic view, amazing screened porch, large open common area with large dining room table, and downstairs game room for kids to play in! We loved that it was convenient to the towns of Highlands and Cashiers and really enjoyed the coffee shops and boutiques in both towns! The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived and the staff was easy to communicate with us and gave clear check-in and check-out instructions. Thanks for a great trip and Happy New Year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mountain House. The views were absolutely STUNNING! The home was clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything you would need to make and serve a meal along with a Kureig coffee maker and drip coffee maker. We used the fire pit nightly for smores. The beds were comfortable and did I mention the views! You can take in the morning sunrise from your bedroom or from any room in the house for that matter..The back porch with rocking chairs was my favorite spot to take in the mountain scape every morning & evening. The only words of wisdom I would pass along is to definitely make sure you have a vehicle that is equipped for mountain driving along un-paved roads. We had a large SUV equipped with 4WD & had no issues getting up & down the mountain but I could see it being a little bit of an issue in an non equipped vehicle. Roads are narrow and mostly gravel as you drive up to the home. Definitely, not a draw back because the views are breathtaking! The home was gorgeous and we highly recommend a stay. There is so much to do, Hiking trails galore, snow tubing, zip lining etc. We were able to choose a new restaurant to enjoy every evening on Main Street. Its such a gorgeous little town. I highly recommend that you make all of your dinner reservations in advance because the restaurants all have odd hours, like closed mid week odd. So, definitely pre book dinner reservations. They also fill up very fast. We highly recommend Blue Bike Cafe, The Bridge at Mill Creek, Four 65, Madisons, Wolfgangs & Russer House.
