Enjoy this beautiful, spacious 4BR/3BA lakefront home in magnificent Highlands. Superbly located directly on Lake Sequoyah near the dam, it's less than 2 miles from downtown Main Street. Ideal for groups of adults and families with kids, there’s never a shortage of things to do.
With windows along the entire back of the house, you’ll have a magnificent view of the lake from every vantage point. Enjoy your morning coffee from the spacious upper deck while watching the steam rise off the lake. At sunset enjoy your favorite appetizer and beverage while lounging on the comfortable outdoor couches. After dark, take in the spectacular stars that are breathtaking at 4100 feet.
The unique main floor is one large great room with distinct gathering areas. The large bar is perfect for casual dining, playing games, working on jigsaw puzzles or arts & crafts projects. For more formal dinners, you’ll enjoy the view of the lake from the dining room table. With multiple reading and relaxing areas, a cozy lounging area in front of the wood burning fireplace and a large sectional couch for viewing the flat screen TV with cable, Roku, and DVDs, everyone can be together in one room while doing their own thing!
The kitchen is well appointed and has a bar area for friends and family to hang out and keep the cook company. Eat inside or outside at the two dining tables that seat up to fourteen. A gas grill is provided for the grill master in your party.
The Main Floor has two bedrooms. The Master has a king bed, private bath, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom or “Blue Room” has a king bed with a beautiful view over-looking the lake, with a separate bath with tub/shower.
Enjoy a game of ping pong or play games and cards at the gaming table in the lower level entertainment and game center. Relax and read a book from the large library of popular books or gather around the large flat screen TV for movies or games on the PS4 game console. This floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a full laundry room. The kids can hang out and sleep together in this colorful bedroom that has 2 sets of twins over full bunk beds. The second bedroom has a beautiful lakeside view with a king bed.
Explore tranquil Lake Sequoyah in the 5 kayaks, canoe and/or paddle board from the private dock. Or take a swim! It’s an amazing experience to take in this spectacular setting. Bring your own fishing gear to catch bass, bream, trout, or nothing except a relaxing time on the water.
Waterfalls like Bridal Veil and Dry Falls, hiking trails, shopping, restaurants and downtown Highlands are within minutes from the house. You couldn’t ask for anything more!
At 4100 feet, Highlands is a magical place at any time of year. When the summer heats up, Highlands is an average 78 degrees and it’s the best place to come and cool off. In the fall the leaves are spectacular and in winter it’s majestic. Come stay and experience it for yourself!

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

This was the perfect house for our large family Thanksgiving get together! We had 4 houses total for our 51 person group and this house was by far the best. Plenty of space!! Great entertaining space! Adults enjoyed the extra large main floor living room and kids loved the downstairs ping pong etc. Great kitchen and well stocked. In fact everything was well stocked. Never wanted for anything! Didnt get to enjoy the kayaks etc but did try a little fishing off the dock. Beautiful location!! Thx for the hospitality!! Manager Response: Thank you Deborah! We love that we were able to host your large family in a few of our special homes. You'll have to come back in the summer for the full lakehouse experience!

Our group of six arrived to find a lovely home, secluded in a beautiful lakeside setting. The property was spotlessly clean. The living areas were spacious and open. The kitchen was well stocked. The air conditioning system worked well to cool the entire house. The wi-fi system was excellent. Well before we arrived, Rent in Highlands staff had frequently communicated with us and prepared us well for our stay. They continued to keep us informed during our stay and responded immediately to any questions we may have had.
We found that the distance between our property and downtown Highlands was very short and that most shops and restaurants were easily accessible.
We look forward to retuning again soon.

Excellent for families. Close proximity to restaurants, town, hiking, etc. The home was better than presented, larger and so nicely equipped with everything needed. All small boat ramp right next to the deck was awesome. Easy to load kayaks, canoes and paddleboards. There were several kayaks, a paddleboard and canoe, plue all the life jackets needed. The kids had a ball on the water and we could watch right from the deck and patio. Loved it.

Lazy Lake Days. We rented the lake house for relaxation with a few hikes thrown in. Relax we did.evening on the deck watching the sunset was truly magical! We loved every minute there. Only one thing, the master shower head was old which could easily be replaced. Thats it! Lovely home with a great ambience and view, great hikes and restaurants near by! Dont miss the one its a gem!

Fantastic location and perfect house for large families. This property was perfect for our three generations of adults. Tons to do, beautiful views and plenty of space to spread out. Everyone loved the kayaks and we caught several large mouth bass... One 4 pounder! Often a house sleeps plenty of people but does not really fit them for relaxing and eating. This house had lots of space for everything. Thoughtful amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, plus great labels and instructions for everything; no searching for light switches or struggling with TV's. I would definitively stay again and for longer.

Perfect mountain spot. We had a great time at the Mountain/Lake home. A perfect spot for 8 guys to plan the perfect golf trip. The house was the perfect get away. The property was in a location just outside of town with plenty of dining options. One night we even just brought pizzas back to the house.
