Enjoy this beautiful, spacious 4BR/3BA lakefront home in magnificent Highlands. Superbly located directly on Lake Sequoyah near the dam, it's less than 2 miles from downtown Main Street. Ideal for groups of adults and families with kids, there’s never a shortage of things to do.
With windows along the entire back of the house, you’ll have a magnificent view of the lake from every vantage point. Enjoy your morning coffee from the spacious upper deck while watching the steam rise off the lake. At sunset enjoy your favorite appetizer and beverage while lounging on the comfortable outdoor couches. After dark, take in the spectacular stars that are breathtaking at 4100 feet.
The unique main floor is one large great room with distinct gathering areas. The large bar is perfect for casual dining, playing games, working on jigsaw puzzles or arts & crafts projects. For more formal dinners, you’ll enjoy the view of the lake from the dining room table. With multiple reading and relaxing areas, a cozy lounging area in front of the wood burning fireplace and a large sectional couch for viewing the flat screen TV with cable, Roku, and DVDs, everyone can be together in one room while doing their own thing!
The kitchen is well appointed and has a bar area for friends and family to hang out and keep the cook company. Eat inside or outside at the two dining tables that seat up to fourteen. A gas grill is provided for the grill master in your party.
The Main Floor has two bedrooms. The Master has a king bed, private bath, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom or “Blue Room” has a king bed with a beautiful view over-looking the lake, with a separate bath with tub/shower.
Enjoy a game of ping pong or play games and cards at the gaming table in the lower level entertainment and game center. Relax and read a book from the large library of popular books or gather around the large flat screen TV for movies or games on the PS4 game console. This floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a full laundry room. The kids can hang out and sleep together in this colorful bedroom that has 2 sets of twins over full bunk beds. The second bedroom has a beautiful lakeside view with a king bed.
Explore tranquil Lake Sequoyah in the 5 kayaks, canoe and/or paddle board from the private dock. Or take a swim! It’s an amazing experience to take in this spectacular setting. Bring your own fishing gear to catch bass, bream, trout, or nothing except a relaxing time on the water.
Waterfalls like Bridal Veil and Dry Falls, hiking trails, shopping, restaurants and downtown Highlands are within minutes from the house. You couldn’t ask for anything more!
At 4100 feet, Highlands is a magical place at any time of year. When the summer heats up, Highlands is an average 78 degrees and it’s the best place to come and cool off. In the fall the leaves are spectacular and in winter it’s majestic. Come stay and experience it for yourself!

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

The property is ideal for a group of friends or a large family. The only thing to know is that the road is right out front, so something to be mindful of with young children. That said, the location is lush and peaceful. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there, so we did not get to have any outside time! Thank goodness for the ping pong table!!!!

The house was perfect for our trip! With the kayaks and canoe, all 8 in our party could get out on the lake together! We enjoyed fishing and exploring the lake. The waterfall we found was a nice surprise! As others stated, the decor is dated but clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck with early morning coffee or stargazing at night. Very convenient to town!

What a wonderful week after Christmas spent with family in your beautiful home. We enjoyed a few days of kayaking and visiting with all the ducks at the end of the lake. Our entire family had the best adventure throwing pottery at Bascom and spent new years at the Ugly Dog...delicious! Not the best of luck fishing but we sure tried. Lots of games played, super competitive ping pong and late night movies on both TVs. The view is amazing and so what we all needed after the busy holidays. Loved every minute.
