This home has a strict NO PET policy. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
Enjoy this great vacation rental home that's just a few blocks off of Main Street Highlands NC. Located right across the street from Harris Lake, it's an easy walk to dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant or into town to dine at some of our other award-winning restaurants.
This home has been tastefully renovated and offers beautiful custom finishes. The ranch style floor plan is both cozy and comfortable. Perfect for one couple or a small family, the home features wood floors, a wood burning fireplace, two bedrooms with queen and twin beds and two baths with a walk-in shower and a tub/shower combo. Beautifully decorated with lots of folk-art inspired touches, it’s warm and inviting.
Great outdoor areas for your enjoyment include both a covered front porch and a screened in front porch. Each comfortably furnished with views of the lake ensuring many relaxing hours entertaining, reading or just watching the world go by. Walk to town or the Mountain Fresh Market for something great to eat or enjoy shopping at the eclectic mix of stores along Main Street.
Whatever is on the agenda, you will absolutely love the proximity and convenience of this great vacation rental home to Main Street and all that downtown Highlands has to offer.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

5 Stars! Sure bet! Well appointed cottage in exceptional location. Walk to everything in town from this very comfortable house. And the porch is the perfect oasis ...to read a book, daydream while looking out at the lake, or greet folks as they walk by.

We have the most serene Thanksgiving by Harris Lake. The house is absolutely stunning. It was set up perfectly for my family. We enjoyed every minute of our state and cannot wait to go back!

Perfect location! And that porch. Great location, perfect walking distance from Main Street. Cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with the kids. Clean, well maintained, the pictures in the post, dont do justice. The front porch and views of the lake on a cold morning with a hot cup of coffee in your hand is perfect. Highly recommended!

This house was the perfect small house base camp for Highlands adventures and leisure. The house itself is ideal for a vacation with two couples or a small family. The house has a beautiful open layout, complete with open kitchen, flowing into dining area, and a cozy living room under cathedral ceiling. The large covered front deck completes the experience. From a location standpoint, the house is very convenient. Steps from main street and a walk or short drive from all of the key in town spots. Highly recommend. Only shortcoming is that the kitchen is somewhat limitedly equipped in terms of dinnerware, drinkware, cookware.

What a wonderful cottage with the perfect location. I loved sitting on the front porch!
Arrival was easy with a code for the door so there was no checking in at another location to pick up keys. The cottage was impeccably clean, and the location was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be renting again!

This is an extremely nice house in a great location, just around the corner from restaurants and shopping. The beds are very comfortable and supportive. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is updated throughout. The view of Harris Lake is spectacular, especially at sunset!
