This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
This home has exterior cameras for security purposes.

This private wooded retreat has everything needed for a fantastic getaway, including a large, screened-in porch for those days you prefer to listen to the wind in the trees, a hot tub to soothe the muscles after a long hike, a game room for family entertainment, and a wood-burning fire place to enjoy some s’mores or a glass of your favorite wine.
Bear Necessities puts you in a prime location for all Highlands has to offer! It is walking distance from the new Skyline Lodge, featuring outdoor firepits, coffee bar, and Oak Steakhouse. It is a 10-minutes drive from downtown Highlands, and a 10-minute drive to Whiteside Mountain (one of the best hikes in the area).
This beautifully decorated home features a great room with Smart TV and wood-burning fireplace, a huge wrap-around, screened-in porch with string lighting, outdoor seating area for 8 with an outdoor dining table for 10.
Perfect for families or couples traveling together, this home has a Main Level King Master with private bathroom (walk-in shower and free-standing tub), a main Level Full Bedroom with black-out curtains, Lower level queen bedroom with 42 inch TV and a Second Floor King Master with private bathroom (walk-in shower) and ample living space.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
