This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.

From a fully equipped kitchen to the upstairs and downstairs porch, this home is perfect for large families or 2 families traveling together. It has living rooms both upstairs and downstairs. There is also a kitchenette downstairs for those needing a separate cooking and prep area. The covered porch upstairs is the perfect area for viewing amazing sunsets that only Western North Carolina can provide.
While it sits on a very secluded lot with forest preserve behind, it is only 2 miles to downtown Highlands via car, or a 25 minute hike into town via trail.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.
