This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved and a pet fee is required. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.

The house has been recently renovated with new appliances, bedroom flooring and updated bathrooms, while carefully maintaining some of the original details like the slate floors that run throughout almost half of the home. An oversized master bedroom includes a separate sitting area where you can read a book or just unwind while enjoying the distant mountain views. All of the bedrooms and living room have plush linens, pillows, and blankets so you can curl up and relax almost anywhere. With living space all on one level, this home is perfect for families and those wishing to avoid stairs.
There are many small details that make this home very special. Immediately when you walk in the door, you will be drawn to the floor to ceiling windows that offer a glimpse of Whiteside Mountain from both the living room and dining area. Enjoy your coffee with a view in the adirondack chairs on the back deck and take in the peaceful surroundings and lush greenery of the almost acre-sized lot. Evenings are a great time to build a fire in the firepit while you sip your favorite beverage.
This home’s great location, only a 5-minute drive to Main Street in downtown Highlands, provides the best of both worlds! In town, you'll find great shopping and restaurants, events at Kelsey-Hutchinson Founders Park, the Bascom Art Center, live theater, and a community rec center. In addition, the home is minutes away from walking trails, Whiteside Mountain, Dry Falls, Glen Falls and other outdoor activities.

We wanted it to feel like a "home away from home" and we have taken careful steps to ensure it is comfortable and inviting. In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

We stayed at this property for a full week as a get-away from SC summer heat. We were conveniently located to Highlands and Cashiers. The property was comfortable inside and out, and would stay there again.

Quaint Cottage. This place was small but in a great location. The patio out front had a beautiful view and was a great place to enjoy coffee in the mornings. The quiet neighborhood made for good baby strolling, and the proximity to town was just a short drive. Perfect house for extended family.
