Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
This gorgeous property has everything anyone could want in a vactation mountain home. Just minutes from downtown Highlands, it's nesetled on 5.88 private fenced acres and features a babbling creek, catch and release spring fed pond stocked with trout and a stunning view of Shortoff Mountain. While you're visiting the pond, don't forget to feed the fish! Check the feezer in the garage for fish food. Just one solo cup per day though please!
Contemporary masterpiece with a modern open floor plan features a main level living space. The collapsing glass wall from the dining area to the screened porch with wood burning fireplace makes entertaining and enjoying the view a dream come true. Or take in the view of Shortoff Mountain framed in floor to ceiling windows in the great room with its soaring fireplace.
The primary bedroom with wood paneled ceilings is large yet cozy and has an elegant en suite bath with steam shower, freestanding tub and heated floors. The upstairs loft provides another seating area with bedrooms and baths on each side. A finished bonus room above the garage has a full bath for additional living space. The "bunk house" features two single over double bunk beds, a large sectional sofa and wide screen TV.
Enjoy the bring one take one "library" concept, This home has a great selection of best selling authors so curl up with a book, relax and enjoy the idyllic oasis setting and mountain views. Leave a favorite book behind for the next guest to enjoy!
Send the kids on a grand adventure to find the spirit tree over the foot path and along the creek waters edge. The spirit tree watches over and blesses the property and it's guests, kids love to climb its magical knotty branches.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

Wonderful long weekend in Highlands. The pictures do not do this property justice. The house was spectacular, and the setting was really special. Our boys loved fishing in the private pond each day. House location was extremely convenient, situated between highlands and Cashiers. This is our fourth year in a row renting in the area and this trip superseded the rest. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year! Manager Response: Thank you so much for the great review! Just Breathe. Amazing property and home. The view was stunning and the house was well stocked and beautifully decorated. The property manager took great care of us when we ran into issues. (No heat- the gas company was prompt as the freezing weather depleted the tanks sooner than the scheduled refill). The house thankfully had areas that ran on electricity as well so we could stay warm until the issue was resolved. This was promptly taken care of by Alicen. It was a fabulous girls getaway and the home is close to downtown Highlands if you want to venture out. All the girls said they would come back to this property in an instant. Family Vacation. We had a fabulous stay! The house was amazing! The kids loved the bunk house, plenty of space for everyone in the family and lots to do around the house! Beautiful home in the mountains! We had a wonderful weekend here! The house was in immaculate condition, the view was amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable! The house is just a short ride into downtown Highlands so very convenient in terms of location. I would absolutely stay here again!
