The Bird Coop
This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved and a pet fee is required. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
This one-of-a-kind 1940s house has been kept in the extended family since the original build, growing in size as the family did. After being passed down through the family, it is now owned by the 3rd generation. Renovations have been made to modernize and update the home to provide the ultimate retreat that's comfortable, yet still maintains that 1940's charm.
The house has plenty of sleeping accomodations for large families or familes traveling together. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one with a king and one with a queen, each with their own ensuite.. Downstairs off the kitchen is a mini eat-in-kitchen, a new game room, a queen bed and a bathroom. Upstairs is a very large bedroom with 4 twin beds, great for all the kids, with it's own ensuite and dressing area. Another king bedroom and queen bedroom and two more bathrooms complete the upstairs area. Each bedroom has its own TV, including 5 smart TVs, and a private bathroom in each. The house will comfortably accommodate all of your guests and the kitchen is fully stocked for creating memorable family gatherings and new holiday traditions! With two separate interior living spaces, one group can sit by the fire while the other enjoys a movie on the smart TV. In addition to the interior fireplace, the porch has a propane fire feature surrounded by 4 comfortable chairs. If you venture into the yard, you’ll find the fire pit, perfect for making s’mores. The porch also has a propane grill and a Traeger for outdoor cooking and dining al fresco.
While tucked away on its own private 2 acres on country club grounds, the home is almost walking distance to downtown. This house is perfect for large family gatherings, weddings, work trips, couples trips, or just a private get away.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

We loved our stay at the Bird Coop and had a wonderful time. Interiors were lovely and house location secluded and quiet. The beds were comfortable and baths very clean.

This property is a really cute little house right close to town. It's very large, 3 levels in all, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of eating and hanging out space. The home is older, so it's a quaint feel. The home has TONS of DVDs, outdoor play space, inside and outside games and is a great location for a large group. We had a great stay, the kitchen is very well stocked with spices, tons of dishes and pots/pans. There is a large laundry set, which is very nice.

Wedding prep perfection! My family and I enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to the Highlands Country Club. The home is older but it is very spacious, charming and beautifully decorated. I was thrilled to discover a kitchenette with a large refrigerator on the first floor where I was able to keep and arrange flowers for my sons rehearsal dinner. Loved The Bird Coop! :)
