Pictures dont do this house justice! We had an amazing time at this rental! So many bedrooms, comfortably fit 15 women. Every room has its own bathroom. View from back deck is amazing!! Sweetwood Cottage is a Special Place! We can't wait to visit again. Sweetwood Cottage was the perfect location for our girls trip. It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. We didn't need anything while on property, but the communication beforehand was clear and easy to follow.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was very clean, the house was beautiful, beds were comfy, the outdoor porch was to die for. So close to downtown which was wonderful. Amazing house!!! The bird coop was amazing!! Everything was clean and organized! They left plenty of toiletries for everyone which was so nice and helpful! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 12 of us staying there! We were a wedding party and we were so close to every where we needed to be throughout the weekend! Fabulous location and super clean. I decided to bring my small work team to the Highlands since we are all remote employees. It was the best decision and we all enjoyed the location walking everywhere. Even though it wasnt in-season every place was hopping. It was very quiet and super clean interiors. We will all be back again when season opens back up. We walked to Wolfgangs for dinner and had a great lunch at the ugly dog public house and the server was absolutely incredible. The grayling cottage was such a great little find. Three bedrooms with bathrooms! Huge plus especially since we all valued our own privacy. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were spotless! The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast each morning. I cannot say enough about this rental. We had plenty of room to spread out and a big table to have our laptops opened enjoying conversation! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your home! We will definitely be back!! Renting with Rent in Highlands was a cinch. Arrival and departure went flawlessly. Upon arrival a maintenance tech showed up because housekeeping communicated the pilot light being out and he made sure we had it working in only minutes. Joe had to help me figure out the trash bin that was bear proofed and had it under control in one minute! Follow up and reminders were appreciated and helped to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend renting through them and VRBO! It was a great quick trip and location at the grayling cottage was perfect for walking to lunch and dinner and close to the grocery store. Wonderful weekend with friends Had a cozy and relaxing girls weekend in this beautiful mountain cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Wonderful long weekend in Highlands. The pictures do not do this property justice. The house was spectacular, and the setting was really special. Our boys loved fishing in the private pond each day. House location was extremely convenient, situated between highlands and Cashiers. This is our fourth year in a row renting in the area and this trip superseded the rest. Just Breathe. Amazing property and home. The view was stunning and the house was well stocked and beautifully decorated. The property manager took great care of us when we ran into issues. (No heat- the gas company was prompt as the freezing weather depleted the tanks sooner than the scheduled refill). The house thankfully had areas that ran on electricity as well so we could stay warm until the issue was resolved. This was promptly taken care of by Alicen. It was a fabulous girls getaway and the home is close to downtown Highlands if you want to venture out. All the girls said they would come back to this property in an instant. It was Christmas time! We arrived in the late evening for a five day stay to celebrate Christmas in Highlands this year. The front door and fireplace were decorated with ornaments and Christmas lights. This house was warm, cozy and inviting for our holiday stay experience. Delightful!

First time Highlands getaway. We had a great time in Highlands it was perfect location. Close to town and the Outpost. The downtown area had great shops and many great eating options. Fantastic Home. We really enjoyed the home. Clean, comfortable and well put together. It was a great experience and our boys really appreciated the Buck Hunter game downstairs!
