Enjoy this beautiful, spacious 4BR/3BA lakefront home in magnificent Highlands. Superbly located directly on Lake Sequoyah near the dam, it's less than 2 miles from downtown Main Street. Ideal for groups of adults and families with kids, there’s never a shortage of things to do.
With windows along the entire back of the house, you’ll have a magnificent view of the lake from every vantage point. Enjoy your morning coffee from the spacious upper deck while watching the steam rise off the lake. At sunset enjoy your favorite appetizer and beverage while lounging on the comfortable outdoor couches. After dark, take in the spectacular stars that are breathtaking at 4100 feet.
The unique main floor is one large great room with distinct gathering areas. The large bar is perfect for casual dining, playing games, working on jigsaw puzzles or arts & crafts projects. For more formal dinners, you’ll enjoy the view of the lake from the dining room table. With multiple reading and relaxing areas, a cozy lounging area in front of the wood burning fireplace and a large sectional couch for viewing the flat screen TV with cable, Roku, and DVDs, everyone can be together in one room while doing their own thing!
The kitchen is well appointed and has a bar area for friends and family to hang out and keep the cook company. Eat inside or outside at the two dining tables that seat up to fourteen. A gas grill is provided for the grill master in your party.
The Main Floor has two bedrooms. The Master has a king bed, private bath, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom or “Blue Room” has a king bed with a beautiful view over-looking the lake, with a separate bath with tub/shower.
Enjoy a game of ping pong or play games and cards at the gaming table in the lower level entertainment and game center. Relax and read a book from the large library of popular books or gather around the large flat screen TV for movies or games on the PS4 game console. This floor has two bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a full laundry room. The kids can hang out and sleep together in this colorful bedroom that has 2 sets of twins over full bunk beds. The second bedroom has a beautiful lakeside view with a king bed.
Explore tranquil Lake Sequoyah in the 5 kayaks, canoe and/or paddle board from the private dock. Or take a swim! It’s an amazing experience to take in this spectacular setting. Bring your own fishing gear to catch bass, bream, trout, or nothing except a relaxing time on the water.
Waterfalls like Bridal Veil and Dry Falls, hiking trails, shopping, restaurants and downtown Highlands are within minutes from the house. You couldn’t ask for anything more!
At 4100 feet, Highlands is a magical place at any time of year. When the summer heats up, Highlands is an average 78 degrees and it’s the best place to come and cool off. In the fall the leaves are spectacular and in winter it’s majestic. Come stay and experience it for yourself!

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

5 Stars! Amazing Lake House. Our family had a great time at the lake house. Adults and teens enjoyed exploring the area on kayaks and the paddle board. The house is spacious and clean, everything is neatly organized and labeled, and the grill and all appliances worked great. The deck is huge and we were easily able to eat meals together and watch the sunset and enjoy the stars at night. The house is also very convenient to town for a quick grocery run. We had such a great experience and we would love to come back again next year.

5 Stars! Fabulous Family Vacation. We stayed for 4 nights with our children and a few of their friends in their 20s. We loved how much the house and the area had to offer. Lake activities, hiking and the town. They stayed off their phones! We cooked all of our meals and the kitchen was stocked with great equipment. The house was very clean and has beautiful landscaping. The back deck was fabulous- grilling and sunbathing. Family fun- what a treat!

We spent three days with six friends from Atlanta and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and situated right on Lake Sequoyah. The one little issue we had (low hot water) was addressed quickly by the maintenance team. Sunrise and sunset was gorgeous. Lovely setting for a get-together.

This is a wonderful home for getting away and relaxing. We have stayed here twice and will be back Thanksgiving week. The view and location are amazing. Of all the homes we've rented in Highlands, this is by far the best. The layout of the home is perfect for a large family or multiple families. The ping pong table, poker table and kayaks provide endless entertainment. The view of the lake and the spectacular sunsets are just gorgeous. This house has become our home-away-from-home.

I cannot express how much we love staying here. Last year we spent a week and love it so much that we booked for 3 weeks this summer! Your home has become our home away from home. We have rented several other places in Highlands and nothing compares to his location! All I asked for this year for my birthday was to wake up here to the most beautiful view! I grew up in Miami Fl and spent every summer in Highlands. Now we bring our children here to enjoy it too. We were married here 20 years ago and had our reception at On the Verandah. We enjoyed our week at your wonderful home! The lake views and night stars were breathtaking. It has been a perfect escape from our usual summer heat. We had a blast on the kayaks and paddleboard. We had may friendly ping pong tournaments and enjoyed the games and puzzles. The location is ideal for local hiking, shopping and adventuring. We even went ziplining! It was nice to spend time with the entire family! Overall, this is a week we will never forget and we look forward to returning to the Highlands again in the near future!
