Wonderfall Cottage
This is a pet friendly home for one small dog, under 20 pounds. Pets must be pre-approved. An additional non-refundable pet fee is required and is not included in the rental fee. Please call our office for approval and to pay the pet fee. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in a $500.00 fine.
Only adults (25 years old and older) may reserve this property and an adult must occupy the property at all times.
Newly renovated with a beautiful kitchen featuring custom cabinets, quartz countertops and new appliances. Fresh paint in updated colors inside and out, updated bathrooms and air conditioning in the main house and guest cottage. You'll love the guest cottage with it's own bathroom and wet bar. Perfect for families or couples traveling together.

Observe Satulah Mountain from the front porch, listen to a 100 foot waterfall steps away from the screened porch, or visit quaint shops and restaurants on Highlands’ Main Street, just a 5 minute drive away.
Wonderfall provides a remote getaway experience without sacrificing modern amenities and conveniences.
Cell reception and internet service may be limited in this location however there are boosters in place.

In the event of a cancellation by tenant, a reservation canceled between 0-45 days prior to arrival is not eligible to receive a refund. If more than 45 days notice is given, tenant shall receive a refund of all payments made by tenant, less an administrative fee of 10% of the Total Cost of the Reservation.

A lovely home in a great location. We had a wonderful stay at the 'waterfall' house tucked away in the highlands! The house was clean and exactly as advertised, the waterfall access was a feature that the whole family enjoyed. We appreciated the location that was private while being close to the downtown Highlands area. Would stay here again!

5 Stars! Loved the Waterfall House. The house was beautiful and well appointed. Make sure if you book here you turn on the right when you see the sign for 189 the 185 sign is hidden on the right. It is one way coming in and out but we never encountered another vehicle. Very comfortable and I recommend buying the firewood. So cozy

5 Stars! Great stay at Wonderfall. This quaint Waterfall Cottage sits beside Satulah Falls. Very cool to hear the sound of the Falls while sitting on the porch. The home is a short drive to downtown Highlands. The house itself is very quaint and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped.

5 Stars! We traveled with another family and really loved this location. Close to town, yet very secluded, and all you can hear is the waterfall which is right next to the property. Be sure to read the details about the trash service - you have to take your own trash to the dump when you check out. It's a little inconvenient, but necessary to reduce bear-human conflict.

We loved the fabulous location and the beautiful scenery. Only a few minutes to downtown, but with privacy and a true mountain experience without the distance. The waterfall is absolutely breathtaking! The house itself provided every thing we needed and then some! Our family will definitely consider booking this house for our next trip!

Hidden Gem! Wonderfall Cottage is a hidden gem. So close to downtown Highlands, yet it feels like you're off in your own world. The cabin has been beautifully renovated and furnished. Perfect for a girls' weekend or family getaway.

Wow I don't know what was better, the location or the house. The house is so cute, clean and updated with a lot of natural light! The screened porch is perfect, not to mention you can hear the waterfall. Super close to downtown, we will definitely come back.

Another great experience at Wonderfall Cottage. We vacationed there with family and enjoyed our visit so much we went back and invited friends along. Both couples agreed they couldnt remember when they had had a more relaxing vacation.
One of the highlights of the stay is the waterfall only steps from the screened porch, down a stone path. The ideal spot for morning coffee, reading, an evening glass of wine or just great conversation while enjoying the sound of the rushing waterfall!
The cottage and guest house have been updated since our first visit. Great before but Wonderfall Cottage just keeps getting better. We hated to leave! Looking forward to going back again and again. Next time hope to see all the rhododendron on the property in bloom.

Our family stayed in this wonderful cottage by the waterfall from December 22-26th. What a lovely place. The cottage makes you feel like you're in a hallmark movie. My entire family, all our boys and their wives, loved the waterfall, hikes to magnificent views and Highlands right down the road.

The house is very comfortable with all the ammenities we needed including wifi and having a separate guest house is great for a large family. We will definately rent this cottage again!

We enjoyed the location ans setting of home and over all had a nice visit, main issue were bugs in the one guest room out by itself so that was not great, the main house was fine overall , and the waterfall is great , screened porch is very nice as well.

We all had a great time visiting Highlands & staying at Wonderfall Cottage. The location is perfect and very close to downtown. The property is beautiful with an awsome mountain view from the front porch, and the waterfall just a few steps away down the path. The cottage was comfortable and cozy and I would definitely like to stay there again in the future.
