Quaint Cottage. This place was small but in a great location. The patio out front had a beautiful view and was a great place to enjoy coffee in the mornings. The quiet neighborhood made for good baby strolling, and the proximity to town was just a short drive. Perfect house for extended family.

Wonderful wedding weekend. The house had everything we needed or wanted. The bedrooms were very comfortable and all had private baths - awesome for three adult couples. Loved the front porch and spent a lot of time out there. It exceeded our expectation. It is soooo close to town, restaurants, shopping. Perfect spot, highly recommend!

Beautiful views and clean, cozy cabin. The view from the deck is stunning. The upstairs is clean, spacious, and the decor creates a welcoming feel. The downstairs is functional and a good place to sleep, but the upstairs is the real winner. It would be a great place for a family with lots of kids or grandkids. A quick drive from downtown.

Perfect Place for Family Getaway. We have visited the Highlands area many times. This was the perfect getaway for our family of four. The house itself is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. It was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable. The porch with its cozy porch furniture and lake view made it a perfect place for coffee in the morning and cocktail hour in the evening. We had no Wi-Fi/internet issues and enjoyed watching shows together as a family. Location could not be better. We walked to dinner, hiking, and shopping. I believe we only got in our car once the entire weekend. We will be back!

Cardinal Cottage is one of a very few vacation homes weve rented that is actually nicer than the photos on Vrbo. It is attractively furnished for adults yet comfortable for children. We can vouch that the cottage is indeed walking distance to downtown Highlandswe did it 3 times in 3 days with 4 grandchildren aged 3-9 to feed the ducks at Harris Lake, have breakfast at Mountain Fresh Grocery, and have dinner al fresco at Lakeside.

True Southern Hospitality. The management company was very quick in response and helped with resources that we wanted. They allowed me in early to prepare before the guests arrived. When the guests left, some items were left behind so they contacted us to see how we would like to handle said items. Very friendly and eager to accommodate.

This was the perfect spot for me and my wife. It's close to town so you can walk everywhere. Very clean. Very nicely decorated. It was just outstanding and I'd highly recommend it, especially if you like to leave the car in the driveway!

This property is awesome! Even better looking than the pictures. It was amazing to be so close to the waterfall. It is right off the screened porch. So close to town and shopping. My family loved staying here!

We loved staying at this property. The home is well-appointed and its close proximity to downtown is incredibly convenient. Visiting during summer, the back porch is the place to relax with the restful sound of the creek in the backyard. I have a high standard for cleanliness and this home was extremely clean which I appreciate. Next time we will book a longer visit!

We rented the "Highlands Haven" house for Memorial day weekend and it was perfect! The house is comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood, and very close to town. Rent in Highlands was spot on with their communication and information about the rental. Everything was great! We will definitely recommend them and rent from them again!
